''The mysterious trailer director'' - PIPANNI (2011-04-14)

Here's something that's been floating around my mind for some time.

Have you noticed how a trailer is most of the times much better than the movie? The editing, the pacing, the music chosen, everything is always top notch. Couldn't the movie be as well executed? I mean, if the trailer is supposed to give us an idea of the movie, then why is it so different so many times?!

And not only the songs, but also there are invariably scenes in the trailer that are not in the movie! If the scene is considered to be so good that it even makes an appearance in the trailer, then why the hell is it absent from the movie?!

Is the trailer director even the same guy who directed the movie? Is there a trailer agency? If there is shouldn't they communicate? Oh well...
